A twice-yearly NAB Foundation program funding community-led projects that help Australian communities prepare for, withstand and recover from bushfires, floods, cyclones and storms.

What this program supports

  • Natural-disaster training and planning, community recovery, environment and wildlife restoration, and resilience equipment or infrastructure.

Who can apply

Australian organisations with an ABN and charitable purpose delivering local natural-disaster preparedness or recovery projects

Eligibility requirements

  • Registered charities, social enterprises, charitable-purpose organisations, local governments and government-funded facilities may apply.
  • An ABN and evidence of charitable purpose are required; DGR status and NAB banking are not.
  • Previous recipients must wait one full year, or two rounds, before applying again.

Published exclusions

  • Individuals, sole traders, partnerships and projects outside Australia.
  • Business-as-usual, recurrent, retrospective, political, sectarian education, general fundraising and unrelated projects.
